Dreamtime English

For Those Who Dare To Dream

Dreamtime English is a work in progress and will likely remain so, because we never stop learning.

Despite what you may have heard, there is no Holy Grail of language learning, and there are no secret methods to be revealed. The objective is to connect with and internalise the language that you are trying to learn so that it becomes part of you. This is where imagination and creativity come into play.

How many ways can we find to immerse ourselves in English in our daily lives? A ten-minute search of the internet will provide us with a huge amount of videos, podcasts, songs and books to listen to or to read. Maybe we could change the language of the operating systems of our various devices to English and set our preferred search engine to search for results in English rather than in our native tongue. But the most important thing that we should do is to find as many opportunities as possible to communicate in English.

Dreamtime English is about discovering and sharing effective ways of learning and practising English, in the hope that you will find something that is right for you, and that you will eventually have your first dream in English.
